Dynamic Brace System (DBS) Scoliosis Rail attachment to the Vertetrac for idiopathic scoliosis treatment. It is a patented system for the non-surgical scoliosis treatment of idiopathic juvenile, adolescent, and adult scoliosis, by applying 3D spinal decompression. Unlike other braces, the DBS Scoliosis Rail is designed for 2-3 daily treatments of 30 minutes each, and is not worn 16 hours a day like other braces.
The DBS Scoliosis Rail attachment takes into account a number of factors, including the physiological age of the patient, the size and location of the curve, and the progress of the curve. The initial treatment with the DBS Scoliosis Rail attachment is the same as with the Vertetrac, however, the DBS applies different decompression to patients with a sciatic scoliosis. The dynamic brace system helps to restore normal upright stance while decreasing muscle spasm, often leading to full recovery. The spinal decompression in combination with a horizontal pressure force, locating it onto the apex of the curve which can help to arrest the curve’s progression.
According to a clinical study performed by the Orthopaedic Technological Review, 86% of all cases experienced spinal pain relief as a result of direct spinal decompression.
